​The aim of the workshop

To understand how people with invisible health conditions or disabilities experience generative AI (ChatGPT) and the generative AI representation of them.

Workshop activities

​​​

  1.  Introductions and presentation on ways to communicate with Chat GPT

  2.  In groups, experiment with Chat GPT and generate a representative image of a person with an invisible disability or chronic condition.

  3. Discussion on the results of the previous activity and how they can be improved

​​In the workshop, you will  

  • Learn basic prompting techniques to write text that ChatGPT understands better.  

  • Experiment with ChatGPT on generating a representative image of a person with an invisible health condition or disability 

  • Discuss together with us how Generative AI can be improved to better represent people with invisible health conditions or disabilities.  

​​If you participate 

  • You can withdraw at any time with no questions asked, just inform us so we know at vasiliki.mylonopoulou@gu.se 

  • Your participation is voluntary, but the workshops will have fika and/or lunch based on the time 

  • No personal data will be collected in the workshop; we work mostly as a group. We will collect some data when you register for the workshop, which will be connected to the email address you will use to register for the workshop. However, apart from your email address, which will be removed from your answers, no personal or identifiable data will be collected.

Q&A

Do I need to understand English?

Chat GPT is much better in English, therefore, you need basic English skills (self-evaluated A1/A2). Regardless, we will help you when needed, so do not worry if your English is not good. Take a look at the A1/A2 levels at the table in the following website https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_European_Framework_of_Reference_for_Languages

How will my personal data be handled?

​We will not collect any personal data in the workshop.​

Is there an information sheet with all the details I need to know about the research and my data?
Yes, you can download all the relevant information on the link that follows. However, keep in mind that we reserve the right for minor changes that, if they occur, you will be informed of in place.
